A Day Off In New York City

Hello Everybody from New York City!

Although I traveled back yesterday, I am still in the Big Apple mood and will spare lots of time this week to blog about my experiences, outfits and everything I documented while being there.

When I arrived at JFK last Monday, my dear friend Stacy, wo lives in NYC, picked me up from the airport and made me feel so much at home at her place. I brought her a cute bag from the German brand called Hallhuber, which I believe do not sell in the U.S. The next day I went out and got her flowers for her apartment. And as the two things looked so nicely together, I went out and photographed them.

I think this outfit is all the way daytime casual. Would you wear it at your office or do you think it is more a weekend only outfit?

    I guess it depends on the office, people who work in more creative careers tend to have more lee-way with their wardrobe, though it would probably work for most “casual Friday’s.” :)

    I think so, too. But then there is young tech companies such as Facebook, where there seems to be a casual dresscode or no dresscode.
